This Sunday, a man who was hired to fix the roof on a building commercial in Soacha (Cundinamarca) died after falling down from the third-floor.
The building had tiles that were damaged the day before by heavy rainfall.
In the early morning, a tragic accident occurred in Quintanares.
The case is still under investigation. It is believed that Ramon Jose Graterol Mosquera from Venezuela was hired by a landlord to rent out a green, three-story building located at 46th Street, race 2B.
The subject fell unexpectedly from the roof. It was an accident.
A witness told Q’Hubo that “this morning, the police closed the platform and I could only see the man covered in a blanket”.
Street vendors are set up in front of the restaurant, on the ground floor, and the general store, on the upper level.
When Jose Graterol fell, he landed on top of 22-year old young man. The debris which fell affected a child of less than 5 years.
The other two victims are also recovering well.
In the meantime, an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of the worker and the reasons why he was not provided with the appropriate security at work.
