This act of vandalism was committed against Diego Molano’s campaign just days after Carlos Fernando Galan’s, the candidate for mayor of Bogota reported on his social media that the headquarters of his campaign had been robbed.

I want to let the public know that they broke into the campaign headquarters on the 3rd floor and stole the computer of our manager. The candidate of the Lievano Palace said that it was the only item stolen.
Galan said that the Attorney General’s Office was informed of this “strange” event.
Galan said that this incident could have been used to monitor his campaign through intercepted communications or infiltration of his team.
El Espectador reported that their campaign had informed the Attorney General’s Office that possible infiltrations or monitoring which could have affected the candidate’s candidacy were already reported in the recent past.
